Writing, research, editing, and the study of sacred image.
I am a writer, researcher, and editor working across sacred art, symbolism, esotericism, memory, and visual culture.
My work grows out of a long background in visual communication, typography, teaching, editorial practice, and the study of images.
I am especially interested in the way images carry meaning, how that meaning changes through reproduction, and how a spiritual reading of visual culture may still be possible.
Sacred Art
Reflections on Chagall, Leonardo, Blake, Escher, and other artists whose work opens onto symbolic and spiritual questions.
Academic Research
Research on aura, memory, reproduction, visual culture, and the changing presence of the image.
Editorial Work
Proofreading, article preparation, text revision, and editorial support for reflective and spiritual writing.
Audio
Podcast preparation and spoken versions of selected texts for spiritual and reflective listening.
Background
My earlier professional life was rooted in graphic design, art direction, typography, and teaching. That background continues to shape the way I read images and texts.
Over time, my work has moved more fully towards writing and research, especially around sacred art, symbolic form, and the question of spiritual presence in visual culture.
I also write, proofread, produce podcasts, and support editorial and social media work connected with LOGON, a spiritual magazine based in the Netherlands.
Current Research
My current academic work is concerned with aura, memory, reproduction, visual culture, and the sacred image.
This research asks how images retain, lose, or recover a sense of presence in a culture shaped by mechanical and digital reproduction.
It also brings together academic study with a lifelong interest in spiritual symbolism and inner transformation.

A working thread
Much of my recent writing sits between reflective article work and academic research. Some pieces are written for a general spiritual readership, while others form part of a longer research path.
This site brings those strands together in one place: articles, research notes, LOGON reflections, and selected material from current work.
